You really are clueless. I'll help you out though.

Clue #1: There is a single coin you need that is worth 10 times your figure of $600 to $800.

Clue #2: These ain't modern bullion that comes from the mint grading MS69.

Now, quit with the chit chat and get cracking. We need some action, not hot air.

  • It is amazing that some people's ego is larger than the multiple cars and coins they own!

Only the foolish, trying to prove to themselves that they are important, can even come close to your gushings about you and your son!

Very true, Wise old Bear but then again, most people are only legends in their own minds.

  • << <i>I'll be retiring from eBay when I hit 1500 feedbacks, and let him take over from there. >>

Feedback as of today is 1512. Is the kid doing the auctions now?

    Cameron Kiefer
  • My kid is taking over Sept. 1.

I didn't think I was going to hit 1500 that fast, I'll be at 3000 total when my kid takes over.

And yes he's going to take it over I'll have to supervise him just to make sure he does things the way I've done them.

Our auction numbers might go down volume wise unless he dedicates his weekends to list an pack.

It's going to be fun watching him grow all on his own.

everyone if you see something you like, support him, it's all going to his college fund.

  • I have 2 more solid years before I retire from the Tropical fish business.

After that I will resume my full-time coin business, right now going into my 19th season of fish and with 2 more world championships coming up in 2005 and 2006, that is my main priority.

Dont get me wrong I'm going to still do my coin business, my son is going to be working at it much harder than me.

I've taken the last 2.5 years building a solid reputation, and a great collection.

Now it's his turn to take over, I'll keep an eye on him to make sure he keeps the same quality coins as my clients are used to seeing.

I hope he does better than I did, time will tell.

Oh and yes tuition at an Ivy League is now over 60k a year.

He wants to go into the Marines, I want him to go to school. We'll see what the next year brings us.

Gads, you and junior have out done yourselves this time. He appears to be a chip off the POS. And, my son is Marine, a sergeant. Please don't go sullying our Corps with the belief junior has what it takes. If he is like his old man, all false bravado and no integrity, no honesty, no sense of the real world and totally self-absorbed, egocentric and self important, he won't make it off the bus before some DI has him crying for daddy and his alleged money ... Please, persuade him to go to Princeton and give him -- and more importantly, all Americans -- a break ... image
  • BNEBNE Posts: 772
Plus, accounts here are free. Be a sport and sign up Junior for his own, so we don't have to guess who is bloviating.

  • RGL just take a look at my volume on eBay. or better yet would you like the phone number to my accountant?

Also take a look at my collections, and awards for those collections.

And finally check out my Viper race team at the viper invitational next month.

all false bravado and no integrity? Hum? look at who won best set of 2003, and my over 3000 feedbacks, that's just on eBay, imagine that number after my 19 years in business.

You do not get to 19 years in business by not having integrity, I pride myself in having intgrity with everything I do. (for the exception of the bottomfeeders here)

****no honesty**** yea right OK, my 3000+ feedbacks speaks volumes about my business conduct

RGL you're just another jealous hater on the banwaggon that knows nothing about me or my
    businesses.

****self-absorbed, egocentric and self important**** = maybe + hell yeah + and no = I'm happy with who I am, so what's your point?

By the way I was a former Marine, my kid has more than what it takes, you should see the kids they are recruiting these days.

Hey RGL your son wouldnt happen to be a Hollywo0dy Marine? image

If my kid wants to go into the Marines which I probably wont allow him to go, he will go in as an E3.

He's already had offers from Dartmouth College,Brown University,Yale University, and a few others.

My mail box these days gets full of Ivy league brochures.

What does yours get filled with?

I only want a better life for him than the one I had, trust me I will do everything I can to give him that.

What did you do for your kid?

I'll be waiting for your reply.
  • I told him not to come here and just plug away.

As you see I do not spend much time here I simply do not have the time.

You are so sad ... I am perfectly comfortable with my life, my station, my coins, my status. How about you? Your need to glorify yourself speaks of deep-seated insecurities. You obviously have a lot of issues, which this little peon need not worry about. My sympathies. And, let's see Junior spend six months in Iraq defending our misguided president like my son and see if that humbles you any, you POS. "Hollywood" (that's how it is spelled, sewer sludge) Marine ... name a street corner and time and let's see what kind of man you are, you waste of oxygen. Here is my home address: 12296 Woodsfield Circle West, Pickerington, Ohio, 43147. Knock on my door and we'll take it from there. Or, I would be glad to visit you. What's your address? C'mon now, fork it over ... A former Marine shouldn't have anything to worry about, right? What did I do for my kid? He has a sense of responsiblity, a worth ethic, morality and ethics. Yours? The answer is obvious ... some spoiled little brat clinging to daddy's skirt.

And, if you are a former Marine, thank God for the "former." Doubtless another unfounded boast, prove it. Your words alone disprove that claim. I can't imagine you even coming close to what the Corps requires and, if you will really were, you could not have lasted long, because you obviously did not learn a thing. You are so far gone into your delusional world you can't even imagine the laughing stock you are to the real people around here. So, we're still waiting ... let's see you and junior post a top set aside from bullion. Any buffoon can pay the going big-sticker freight for top coins so long as they have the cash. Let's see you become a real numismatist ... search through countless coins, pick the best and submit them raw and let's see how you fare beyond the near perfect bullion produced by the Mint. It's called bullion for a reason. The real collectors around here have that skill, knowledge, passion and pride and have built top sets with intangibles other than cash -- something you obviously will never know.
  • You guys voted for Bush not me!

Don't blame me for your son being in Iraq, I voted for Clinton, Gore I'll vote for Kerry.

    You're the one that's sad.

I have one son, and the hell if I'm going to send him off to war for a Bush!
  • WOW an Ohio idiot, can I have some POP.

My address well, you couldnt get past my guards even if I gave you my address so it's pointless.

My kid has a sence of responsibility, he's 2nd in his class of just over 500 kids, the only person that has a slightly higher but not by much is a Chinese girl that does not do anything but play the piano and study.

My kid helps me run my business working full time and keeping up his GPA.

He's only 16 (going on 17) and already has more put away than your Ohio dumb ass.

Former yes I'm 36 (going on 37) I served proudly for 4 years, and if my unit would have been called to duty back in Desert Storm I would have cheerfully gone, not only that I would have served this country proudly.

Too bad that war didnt last another 2-3 weeks or I would have gone just to shut your stupid ass up.

Also I am a real Numismitist, don't you think I look at thousands of eagles a year?

I also look at thousands of quarters, nickels, and a host of canadian coins.

In fact I have 3 MS-65 PCGS 1932-D Washington Quarters up for sale this week, and I might make a MS-66 if I'm lucky.
How's that for a non bullion item, in fact I have 100's of non bullion items in my stock, little do people know what I have and who sells my goods.

Now you tell me with a person that submits oh about 10,000+ coins to both PCGS and now NGC a year is that not enough for you?

Also, since you're a "REAL" Numismitist eggsplain what one is I still dont know... image

While you're at it go build an award winning set, I'll sit here and wait, so far it's a 52- 0 score.

Go play with your little nickels will ya, I have much better things to do, like pack up and head home after a 2 week coin show.

    Semper Fi,
    dumb ass

And,,,, tell your hollywoody marine son thanks for his service and support of Bush, the free world owes him for his service.
  • RGLRGL Posts: 3,784
Exactly what I expected ... thanks for not disappointing! image And, I don't have a single guard, so stroll on over ... and, finally, real numismatists generally know how to spell the word. Add on your other spelling and grammar mistakes and you obviously are not only a second-rate human (and I use use that term loosely), but of substandard intelligence, to boot. You couldn't spell bandwagon if I spotted you the d and one g. And as for eggsplain, we Ohioans tend to spell it explain. Ask your guards, I bet they can spell it. Here's hoping Junior has a few more active synapses (gee, a word to look up, Mr. P!) than daddy ... and, if true, I am sure any Marine disavows you as always faithful. Respect is one of the tenents of the Marines. I guess that one didn't take, eh, punk? And a bigot to boot, nice dig and stereotype on the "Chinese" girl ... what a fraud.
  • Notice how I left out the o in hollywoody.

Ah never mind, why would I go to Ohio to step on ur farm shiit, I have enought crap to step on around here.

Why don't you come over, I'll buy you a POP. image

    Bigot?

I'm married to an Asian women idiot.

What I do not like are rednecks if that makes me a bigot so be it.

By the way like my viet staw hat I thought I would show you how much of a bigot I am. image
  • Oh and here's my mail order bride. image

Let me upload some pix, I'm limited on my file size.

    Also RGL,

I don't think your redneck ass could survive one month out west, your mortgage payment alone would leave you in the poor house.

Anyone that lives nice out west can back me up on that one.

  • By the way RGL,

I think my kid's mouse collection came from Ohio.

    image

He has them trained to sit still in a single file line.

Since you're from Ohio, I'm sure you have some of these kicking around your house, oops your barn.

Barn, house in Ohio it's all the same.
  • Once he can get them to get on a 15 mouse pyramid, we're going to take him on Letterman.

Heck if he goes to Ohio state, he can claim he's a redneck from Ohio, but then again he's 1/2 spanish 1/2 flip.

Ah heck he can always borrow your son's overalls since he's in his jarhead uniform.

    What a hoot.

And this guy has the juevos to call me a bigot.
  • Hey RGL,

Some of us Numismatististstitsits, when asked what is a Numismatististstitsits,by a normal person that does not know anything about coins, we tell them we have a disease, that's not listed in any medical journal.

By the way I can spell and spreak engrish, I just want to talk with an Ohio'r redneck accent.

And yes I'm a punk, so what?

Come over I'll have you for lunch, bring some POP with you while you're at it, no wait bring me a #5 from dunkin donuts.

I'm sure you know what dunkin donuts is right?

    Isn't that a redneck thing?

Oh and please make sure your fat wife doesnt eat my donut!

Just give me your paypal I'll send you $20 bucks so you can buy me a dozen donuts, and a box o' joe.
  • Your wife is beautiful!

    Cameron Kiefer
  • Thank You!

Everyone thinks she's that tombraider chick, we went to Hollywood a few weeks back I told her to wear a bullet proof vest get a grenade launcher and take pictures for tips.

I'm almost willing to bet she could make $500 bucks a day posing for pictures.

We sat there and saw the spideman dude make about $100 bucks in 30 mins, the superman gay looking guy was making $5 bucks per pose.

  • Did you guys really think I was with a fat chick?

Come on I do have goot taste in women.

A room? we do it on the golf course behind the house at 3 am under a full moon.

I wonder what the home owners association would say if the neighbors caught us and actually filed a complaint, heck I wonder what they would say if we threw a sex party.

My kid and a couple of the neighborhood kids went up to the mansions in our neighborhood and left fliers in the elite rich people's mail boxes last year The flyer read "Second Annual RRCC sex party".

If you missed the first one, you missed one heck of a party. image

  • I try to make this fun, some of your older folks are super anal.

I remember when I first started selling coins, I was told this was a conservative mans' hobby.

And people that make noise do not do well.

The person that told me this about 3 years ago, is now one of my largest clients.

Funny thing someone told me this about 19 years ago when I started my tropical fish business, that I needed to cut my hair, and be conservative.

I'm still the same way I was when I was 17, 20 years later, and I still don't see what I'm doing wrong.

I can't be doing too bad?

Maybe I'm blind, but I sure am having the time of my life, and should be retired within 14-26 months.

Not bad for a 38 year old.

Imagine if I stuck around in the coin business for the next 30 years with the same intensity I put into my fish business for the last almost 19 years?

By the time that time comes I dont think there will be a single old timer talking they'll all be dead.

But guess what? I'll still be laughing...image

Four years in the Corps? From age 18-21? That would have been

. So were you in the Corps with your long hair? Most Marines leave their long hair on the floor at PI.

The man's monument to himself ... Methinks he has talked to a few too many Pomeranians over the phone and watched a few too many porn flicks (his words, not mine). WARNING: The link contains both objectionable language and sexually explicit music. What did I teach my son? What are you teaching yours, Leo? imageAnd, are you a blond or a brunette, Leo? At any rate, I love the permed Michael Bolton look ...

And, you will find a section where he mourns friends lost in the WTC tragedy, yet he proudly sells the WTC recovery "death" coins. Anything for a buck, eh, Leo? Even if it requires dancing on the bodies of supposed friends and the 3,000 others lost that day.

And, ever the gentleman, I will refrain from posting a link to his partner's/wife's page, where she discusses their on-again, off-again relationship ...

Now, no complaints, Leo ... you put this on the web for all the world to see, to behold the greatness that is Leo. You obviously must be proud of it and plead with your son to emulate Dad. But, if suddenly it does not conform with the image you promote to fans of fish and bullion, feel free to delete it. I have already saved it to my hard drive for posterity. We cannot deny a great man his due, can we Leo? Gawd, if I could only be you ...

    Your friend,

    RGL (hopeless in Ohio)
  • I'd rather have a fun time talking about cars and beautiful women then arguing over who was better in the Marines and who's set has better coins.

Thanks for posting pics Mr. Platinum and inviting me to the next party. LOL. It would be a fun party.

  • Also, I did start my fish business when I was 17 it's public record, I started it as a highschool project in my Junior year, then went into the Marines 2 days after graduation to please my old man which was also a Marine.

I still ran my fish business during that time, with my cousin and my manager which is still with me after all these years.

Too bad they didn't have the net back then.
