Hey steve, I was at a local show the other day and many of the dealers let the kids clean the cases for some extra dough. I think thats a great idea. Some even let them go grab coffe and snacks for them.

A page is a great thing for a dealer and they provide a service par none. With their help some of us only have to leave the table to go to the coin dealer conveniance room. The best page that i have ever had was Paige the Page. She helped pack us up and loader our vehicle. Great for a 12 year old. Look forward to seeing her in Houston in Jan.

90% of the dealers that I know do neither. They eat their lunch on their case, then just let the Whopper juice get smeared all over.

As for me, I am option "C": I clean my own cases, but give the kids money for asking. I mostly use pages to run errands for me (i.e. get coffee, deliver a note, clean my coins

, have someone paged on the intercom, etc.) and I tip well for the service. However, I really prefer to clean my own cases, since I am particular about the technique. For example, I use a special solution and I always clean the inside and outside of the glass.

Im both....I love having kids clean the case...but sometimes each 5 minutes can get a bit much....sometimes no one comes around hence I have to do it myself...fun thread...

I am the kind of dealer who walks around the bourse asking to clean other dealer's cases when sales are slow. The YN pages get very upset with me, especially when I undercut their price (I clean cases for $0.75 per case).
