    Cool coin, Craton.
I like some of the Canadian stuff from around that time, especially the 1967 'animal' coins. I remember being 5 and seeing the cougar quarter for the first time and thinking that it was just way too cool to spend.
It's neat seeing some of them nicely toned.image
  • This one was a gift from a WINS (Word Internet Numismatic Society) member. There are plenty of these out there because of the packaging that they were issued in. A pleather type box with foam padding on the inside. I remember a dealer in Yakima Washington had a box full of these things. I went in one day and they changed from beautiful toned coins to BLAST white ;( He bathed them all one evening. I wish that I could go back in time sometimes.

OK, I have been a member of this board for almost a year but have only been posting for two months. I have seen the term "darkside" and "darksiders" used multiple times now ........ what the heck does it mean!!! image
