Cool coin, Craton. I like some of the Canadian stuff from around that time, especially the 1967 'animal' coins. I remember being 5 and seeing the cougar quarter for the first time and thinking that it was just way too cool to spend. It's neat seeing some of them nicely toned.
This one was a gift from a WINS (Word Internet Numismatic Society) member. There are plenty of these out there because of the packaging that they were issued in. A pleather type box with foam padding on the inside. I remember a dealer in Yakima Washington had a box full of these things. I went in one day and they changed from beautiful toned coins to BLAST white ;( He bathed them all one evening. I wish that I could go back in time sometimes.
<< <i>Very nice! I should be receiving my darkside toners from PCGS today. (I hope) >>
OK, I have been a member of this board for almost a year but have only been posting for two months. I have seen the term "darkside" and "darksiders" used multiple times now ........ what the heck does it mean!!!
