Well, since Frattlaw has posted a pretty Peace Dollar, in the interest of equal time I present my Wayte Raymond toned 1892 Morgan:

As usual, pretty coin Eric. I see those holders on occasion on ebay and wonder if it would be worth the trouble of buying one of them and trying to tone some coins. I guess I should have said trouble/time ....... I don't know if I could wait the 20 or more years to watch them tone.

Aw, come on Rick. I would have never let loose of that PQ 63 for a plain old white 64. If I hadn't found this one, that 63 would still be in my set.

I have never been a big fan of dark toning but how could you NOT love those two coins of Erics' ?

Begging? that's it I don't beg for nothing.

But yes he has indeed teased me with them on occasion. That's alright I really don't buy Morgans anymore, unless of course it's something that strikes me.... such as these. Hey I ain't begging now.

Wow, those matching crescents are kool. I love the luster on that the 92 Morgan. WR toning I think can be some of the prettiest out there. Very subtle and a good indication that the coin came from am old time collection.

I wish I could find crescents like that on Peace $
