Conder101: Another unknown slab? WMP Rare coins

This slab is just the same as the NCI 9 slab and could be like the USTI slab where they used the same molds, but different labels. On the back is the logo "WMP Rare Coins" with an upward graph symbol and a logo similiar to the Amos Press globe in the right hand corner. Have you seen one of these before? Anyone else have any from this particluar company?

Yes I have seen one before but I don't know anything about them and I didn't have any pictures of one.

Already snatched the pics. I'll probably list it as WMP 1. But I would like to find out what the WMP stand for.

I usually find them in junk slab boxes dealers have at shows or just word of mouth. Ask around and dealers have neat stuff hiding in their shops and tables.

IIRC, WMP is Wayne M. Pratali who works with/for A-Mark and other major
wholesalers. He's listed in the 1996 Numismatic Dealer Directory as
Goldline International, Inc., 100 Wilshire Blvd., 3rd Floor, Santa
Monica, CA 90401, 301-587-1483. (A-Mark has the same address ...)

The shop had two of these- I'm tempted to go back and pick up the other one.
The slabs are good quality- feels like the plastic SEGS uses. The coin is true to the grade.

Yes, I like the look and feel of the WMP plastic. If you can get a decent price, then I would grab the other one.

Pretty sure they are FPG - First Party Graders. e.g. like Blanchard &c - it was a thing once-upon-a-time.

Also, the slab is acrylic plastic (e.g. tradename plexiglass) which is VERY inert. They make intraocular lenses for cataract patients out of similar plastics.
