I dont think twice if the price is right (sometimes that can be a bad thing) this one was less than $10 if I remember correctly

Yep that is a nice clashed-die cent. If you rotate the reverse 180 degrees you can see the profile of the Indian on the reverse. Nice find. The mark on the obverse by the profile near the eye is the C from cent.

Die clashed Mercs are cool, cause you get the branches in front of Ms Libertys face...

Sorry, the IHC has been harshly cleaned and will get bagged if you send in for grading. This is tgoo bad, because it's nicely struck. Look at the numerous small hairlines all over the obverse. The coin's luster is dead and the color is unnatural. The tan, pink & purple colors on a business strike mean the coin has been played with.

For $10, I think you did fine, but save your $; don't send it in to be graded.
