Way to go PCGS

Only at PCGS can 60 days = 30 days (No engineers work for PCGS must be Liberal Arts Majors)

I called on my order today, 12-10-03 (I saw several people with the same early Dec. date with submission problem)

Got the answer most of you got. (BS) (They stuck them in the back alley or in the back corner, cause Christmass was coming)

“ First in first out”
“ there must have been an error on your submission”
“ we had shows”
“it was a holiday”
You know what I do not care about the lies.

Other businesses do their business everyday, they plan on delays like the BS excuses PCGS has and still make thing happen on time. What is wrong with PCGS?
(This is nothing new for them, IS IT!)

All I want is my little order back and I’m out of here. No more of my money till this BS is over, or they go out of business.

(Oh, yes more PCGS for Lucy.)

It has been 60 days since I submitted the coin and the clerk said it amounts to 30 days so far.

Ah, now I understand what you meant. That sounds about right considering weekends, holidays and shows with on-site grading. All of which have been known about in advance.

Is this an economy submission? If so, you've probably got another three weeks to go. My last took 82 days, and there are plenty here from mid-November, not mid-December that are still waiting.

That is one of my points exactly they know that they have things to do and they do not plan they just let it happen!!

If it were unexpected that is one thing, but it is not they know a year ahead and still screw it up.

I think that coins from dealers must be graded before collectors. If you are a business and needs the inventory, you will be more concern with delivery time than other factors. If large dealers cannot get their coins back quickly, enentually they will not be pushing PCGS coins anymore, and I am sure PCGS realize this also.

I submitted one coin at the F.U.N. show on Jan.8th. It isn't an important coin, but I didn't want to wait till March, so I used 15 day. Today (Feb 6th) is the 13th day. It was put in the system Jan.14th.image It may or may not clear on Feb 10th. January was a show month.

I can't complain... with the help of a dealer, I just recently received a submission back 5 days before the "last day" on a 15 day......

I think Marty would probably disagree with that. He waits just as long for his submissions as the rest of us.

What I’m saying is that no one or no company is irreplaceable.
Not a grader not a president and not this company.
You treat people like crap and your going to be gone……

I know a real example of this, I went to a reataurant one day, it was really busy and very understaff. I ask the owner why he did not hire more workers? He said, "do you know how expensive it is to hire more people?" I did not answer him but did not go back to that restaurant for a long time and you know what? It was not busy anymore.

Just a couple things I thought I'd heard.

PCGS changed the way they count days. I think it is business days now.

I don't believe they count holidays or the days when the graders are at the large shows.

So, the last two months would not have been a good time to have an economy submission in.

PCGS would have excluded Baltimore, X-Mas, New Years, FUN and Long Beach.

One other thought? Maybe if PCGS slows down economy, enough people will get impatient and for their next submission pay the extra for the next level of service? Bringing PCGS more revenue?

It could be worse... You could have to send them through a dealer... The market is hot, wait like the rest of us. I have two in the que, soon to be three!
