Do the "insiders" or experts on this board wish us newbies would just go away?

  • Once again I'm done here. Most of you just proved what I was trying to get at, but I'm sure you won't see it. Russ< I have been in the ministry for nearly 25 years & was officially ordained approx. 3 years ago. My BA was in Biblical studies, studying both Greek & Hebrew with a minor in cross cultural communications. If no one believes anything I've said, It is of no consequence to me. Sorry to bother so many with my ailments. I spoke them because I was defending myself & don't have a problem talking about it--and I'm not even selling any coins. To the Christians who hace attacked, You should be ashamed of yourselves. BTW, I am getting pro help to help me cope with unbearable pain, for all of you who were "so worried" about me. I have many other boards that I have been on where people give other's the benefit of the doubt, are kind, tolerant & nice even in disagreement. If I wasn't pounced on so hard as a fraud last time, I would have immediately retracted the offer, but I was busy fencing with the people who were cursing at me & damning me to hell. The thread wasn't deleted because you were all so kind, it was because many of you were breaking the rules. So farewell to all. You may proceed with your diatribes and other mean things. BTW, you all need to get your BS detectors into the shop and have them fixed--they certainly are misfiring and giving you incorrect readings. image

That's it Jerk!! You're finished around here if you weren't before.

You called me a liar and I only mentioned a small amount of the crap you started out with. Lucy called you on your BS and this is the best you can do?

Ordained minister my butt!! You have crossed the line for the last time. You never dealt with Lucy in any manner except rudeness from the very start. I really don't like this kind of stuff and I try to stay out of these nasty events, but you called me out and I've never been one to run from anything, much less an idiot such as yourself.

Perhaps if you didn't have testicles where your frontal lobes belong, you wouldn't find yourself in this mess. Cleary you chose not to take my advice on the rule of holes.

I think you have just buried yourself for the last time. you're beyond the apology level now. I'm pretty much a newbie myself, but this is the last straw, I've had more than enough and you have to go.

It's time for you to go away for good, peddle your BS elsewhere. imageimageimage

Lucy bop--You are one of the nastiest people aboard here, & that I've ever talked to --and a liar as well.

It is a shame to see posts like this ... Nothing could be further from the truth. Fortunately the rest of the board members know that Lucy is a good egg.

  • I ask this question because I see that most people who are inexperienced with coins are treated with contempt at best, and outward hostility & condescention (sp?) quite often? This is a serious question.

You couldn't be any more off base. Lucy adds more personality to this board than any other member, IMO, and is one of the nicest people here. You're not gaining any friends here. More Lucy for me! image

    All,

I am sorry to see this end up this way but...

you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink.

Perro seemed like he was lost and begging for attention in his own way.

Unfortunately, IMO he is representative of so very many people in our country ALWAYS looking for a handout or someone to place blame for their lot in life... never even considering that perhaps they are responsible...

    Very disappointing...

I read the first page and then the last page (7) on this thead. Boy did it turn nasty quickly (not that the title
wasn't just dying to start trouble).

To answer the title question, I get ignored around here and I've been around (it seems like) forever.
Who the heck cares. People respond when they want to. Maybe if they don't you're not saying anything
    they are interested in.

    Good luck,

WOW- I take 1 day off from these boards and look what I miss. Holy Canoli. Yo Perro - I too am a newbie. You have to be a little nice when you first meet people. There are some real friendships on this board as well as some incredible respect for some of these guys and gals. When you walk into a room full of people for the first time don't belch and pass gas before you get to know everyone. Besides, Lucy is awesome and you are ripping into her like an animal. There are some of us here that will not allow that to happen----we take care of our own. Oh .....and don't let the door hit you in the behind on the way out.

This particular species of NTC shill makes an appearance on this forum in interval cycles of approximatly 8 months. This is the same routine with and the same story. This specimen in particular hides in waiting and every now and then, raides the BST forum in conjunction with a barrage aimed at this forum.
Tactics include the gathering of sympathy as well as the sob story. There was another species of NTC/ACG shill, that may be extict now., but it made the local West Central Florida show circuit and pretended to be a preacher to garner new collector's trust and confidence. Although these two particular species may not be related, they do originate from the same family of shills.

So this is a pedigreed scam?

, yes, and everytime he promises it will be his last, and then strikes again. This is typical of this type of species.

I am surprised that there was no mention of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease, Tuesdays with Morrie, etc.) in the medical report. That one always tugs on my heart strings...
  • wingedlibertywingedliberty Posts: 4,805 ✭✭✭
I am surprised also, considering he was expert at promoting his NTC "so called" DCAMS last year. He was giving Coin Vault a run for their money. For someone who is so challenged and new to the hobby, he sure knew how to market to newbies and garner sympathy.

Any of the "insiders" remember Angel something or other from nearly two years ago? You know, the guy that lived in a dirt floored shack that was trying to sell his crap coins to help feed his siblings...had a digital camera and computer though? We made offers and he wanted more than they were worth and finally left pissed off trying to put a guilt trip on us? This guy could be the same person.....heh heh

I'm voting for "sorriest sack" - but either way that's nicely caught Andy!

I particularly like what must sound something like -- "open paren, ess, pea, question mark, close paren."

    ain't modern science grand....
  • First of all Perro, For someone to have so much wrong with them and in so much pain...I would not even consider coming on this board or anyother board and try to sell coins or anything else for that matter....And your wife goes to her Parents for Christmas, Leaving you in your incapacitated state...now that is hard to believe....Your stories do not add up nor do they form any logic to a sane mind...Many of those Medical Conditions which you have stated as having...will eventually lead to death....one of which leaves one paralized and in mobile....I dont think I have ever in my live seen so much wrong with one person in my life...and to think your loving Wife left you alone on Christmas day...I guess she thought Santa was coming by....just totally Unbelievable.

He had those chronic conditions last year during the NTC sales, but came back from the dead this week with the same exact conditions and with the same time frame. Yes, we believe that he rose from the dead to sell more NTC garbage.

  • Wing, I look at it this way...one day he just might get one of those deadly conditions and then he will know what it is to suffer a painful death...it takes a sick mind even to think about such.

  • Well,I'm out of popcorn so I'll chime in since everyone else has.I'm also a NU-bie.Perhaps you came into this forum with the wrong mindset.Selling instead of learning. It makes sense to learn before you sell.I've experienced no contempt from anyone and have learned quite a bit.
As for LucyB,She has Numismatically been around, and if she thinks you're a huckster, you probably are.A lot of your posts in this very thread are not very ministerlike.
Last note,If you're truly afflicted w/all you've stated you should'nt care what a few people in cyberspace think of you.You should be living life to the fullest in a positive ministerlike manner rather than wasting precious moments being a negative person in a positive forum.

    My two cents

Edited to add: FYI: hucksters recieve "ZERO" tolerence/mercy in this forum!!!!!!!!

One of the things you said about Lucy,.........
<<My wife who was reading along said that you were a B***h & I shouldn't waste my time talking to you.>>
I'm sure there are many women out there who are jealous of Lucy and don't want their husbands
talking to her!image....She is one cool kitty!
I assure you, she is NOT a liar, or nasty (maybe in a good way, but I don't know her that well). As stated before,
she is probably one of the most respected and liked person on this forum.
Sounds like you and your wife were made for each otherimage

As a Newbie, we welcomed you to our camp fire. You chose to insult people that help build the fire and proceeded to

I don't consider myself to be an insider or expert, but (IMHO) you ARE some one I would be happy to see

Ah..ah..ummm.. this reminds me of somebody...let me think...he was a coin dealers preacher too....he scammed the sheeplike board members and made them like it......he scammed them and blessed them in the name of the Lord and they rejoiced. He has problems, his car broke down, he was failing in college getting his PHD, he was behind on his rent but he could list list list on sleazeBay. He could do no wrong sayeth the board sheepeople. But a few crusty grumpy old non-believer collectors faced the flames of his loyal followers and exposed & busted him.

I started reading this, and quickly realized that I had already read this crap before. I remember his attempts to pull his eBay scams here. He was called out and then the medical conditions started coming. When he didn't receive sympathy, he left.
