  I found two blank planchets in a bank roll of 1995-D pennies, in 1995. What would they be worth?

  Excellent story of the discovery process of the blank planchet quarter. Now I don't know if what I found are planchets or "blanks" because I can't remember if there's an upset rim.

  they need a page on the website showing MadMarty discovering a coin in a mint set, removing the coin from the set, putting it in a flip, sending the coin off for grading, and the coin returning AU58...

  1jester blanks aren't too terribly expensive. Around $5-$10 for cent & quarters. JFK's are the toughies which run around $50-$75.

  Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

  Maybe he should start a set of blank planchets for each State Quarter!

  New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
