Might be nothing, but hey, it IS the "bay of E"...... This seller has used the SAME picture for all his auctions which BTW are only for GSA dollars.........

When you've got a primo winning image like this, why wouldn't you use it whenever you could???

Uhh...I thought all the GSA Morgans stated "UNCIRCULATED SILVER DOLLAR" on the insert, not just "SILVER DOLLAR". Am I wrong?

I have two GSA morgans here and one says uncirculated and the other doesnt.

Unfortunately....you are wrong. Long story short....when they were sorting the dollars, those that had toning or just didn't look uncirculated to the non numismatic inclined sorters went into holders without the "uncirculated" word...even though almost all the ones I see like that are unc. Plus, the ones that don't have the "uncirculated" word come with cards that are not serialized.

There are also GSA holders that say Uncirculated Silver Dollar but which do not say Carson City. These were used for the roughly 20% of the hoard that were not CC's but which were judged to be Unc. Circulated non-CC, some heavily worn CC, and a large number of the 78-CC dollars were put in a pliofilm holder. So there are four types of GSA holders.
