Scratch remover for slabs.

I just tried out 3m rubbing compound for removing swirl marks from cars. It seems to work pretty good for slabs also. Had a couple nasty scratches in a couple slabs. They came out with some buffing. $6.95 at Schuck's.

    Used a product from Meguiar's called Professional Plastics Cleaner #17. Works great. There is also a Polish #10

    Bill, most auto parts stores stock this product line. Try NAPA Auto Parts or some of the others.

    Meguiar's also has a web site. Thats were I got mine. Used mostly for my motocycle windsheild.

    Nothing works better than Pushkin's patented Maine Coon Catpiss scratch remover!!!
    It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    I've been following a Maine Coon around for weeks without luck. I decided to go to schuck's instead.

    I use 120 grit sand paper then 220 grit. After that, I use Crocus Cloth then very fine lapping compound. Then the polishing compounds work very well for the final touch.
