Using the generally accepted definiton, is the toning natural or artificial? Note: The question is not whether it's market acceptable, just is it AT or NT.

Hey! Ugly coins need love too!

The coin is not artificially toned. Pulled if from a batch of proof sets that came in today, still sealed in the mint celo. The quarter and dime were also toned, but even uglier than the half.

OK, I have seen similar color on a 62 proof franklin once, but was nowhere near as full as this.

cause the rev isnt toned exactly like the obverse for one.
two , the colors blend well.

just my feeling. i could be wrong but, hey, wouldnt be the first time, surely wont be the last.
