does it weigh less than normal?
I not sure if toned SQs bring a premium. Least not in my book they dont.
If you think its really cool and or unusual then by all means save it and cherish it.
Collecting is about self satisfaction. Not what others say is collectible. Thats the joy of collecting.
You decide whats cool and whats not.
The quarter looks like toning to me, and I think it's kind of cool.
As a last ditch effert,you could take a stright pin and scratch the edge between two reeds.
Silver,copper,silver,nice toning.

Similiar to copper sintered, which is baked on copper particles from the annealing furnace.
If it is a `copper-wash` quarter it would be slabbable as a true error.
PCGS has slabbed some of those.
any examples of clad missing slabs
any examples of coin washed error slabs?
