That Cheap Slab thread got me thinking about my favorite mercs since that is where I got the NGC 67 Star coin. Here are mine - post yours!

1939 NGC MS67 Star - what a headlight! Blows away my PCGS MS67FB.

Nice Mercs! I really like them all.

Here is my favorite. It is a proof. It looks like the obverse devices are frosty enough to make cameo. However the neat blue toning is too strong to ever allow this coin to get the designation.

Thanks Winged Liberty! I don't even collect Mercs and only have 3 representatives, but they sure are cool. I remember getting AG to AU examples as a kid in the silver melt bags from my local dealer. That nastalgia keeps bringing me back.

Welcome back. With the representative examples that you have, its a great way to start collecting again and fall back in love with this series. I hope you start collecting Mercs again on a more permanent basis.
Me, I am waiting to unleash "SHOCK AND AWE" on both registries when the time is right.

Ken , thanks for posting my Mercs. You can rest assured that they are in good hands. I love the 44D in particular. The nice peripheral crescent effect is my favorite, and as you know, the 44 is a great date for quality.

Excellent photography, and I love everyone's new icons. Keep them and don't change, but then again, I am slightly biased.

Ain't got a picture of my favorite Merc, anymore. It's a 1936 in VG. My first collectible coin, from Thanksgiving Day, 1976.

A PCGS MS67 FB 1944-D is about the highest graded one I've had.

Well, my favorite is my signature picture, a 1940 PF67. It looks perfect except for a little purple toned spot hidden in the leaves on the reverse. Then I also like my low good 4 1916-D The D is nice clear and real!

Brian that is what I have seen also. This coin has been on a Web Site for over two years and I have drooled all over my key board that long. Finally this morning I struck up a deal with them for the coin.
