    Ugly pics, though. Not easy to really discern everything needed. Most certainly not uncirculated.

    I like to see the die polish line next to the T in CENT before I'm satisfied, which isn't easy in a pic.

    The coin is real, but it's not Unc., and I don't think that the color is original either. If you sent this in to PCGS or NGC you could get a body bag. I think the coin was "made red" at one point and toned down when that did not work.

    Some of the pieces in slabs that are marked "MS" are not Mint State either. I saw a '55 doubled die in an NGC MS-61 holder over the weekend that had an obvious rub on Lincoln's cheek. Beware! Look at the coin, not just the holder.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    It looks real to me, but it is exactly the kind of coin I would never buy on ebay. The pics are too blurry to get a honest appraisal.

    Definitely NOT uncirculated. Probably AU-50

    That same seller recently had a Proof Morgan in a gold PCI holder. I emailed him, asking why PCI and not PCGS or NGC. His response was they "liked PCI". My response was not to bid on his auctions again.

    It's hard to tell whether it's real - some of the fakes are too good to tell with photos of that quality. As for grade, it's at best AU, I would probably go as low as EF45. It's definately not UNC.
