How much can a slab withstand?
I sold a PCGS 25c on eBay and the buyer tells me it's been damaged (it was marked "Received In Damaged Condition" by the post office, and the enveloped was ripped). I told him to return it and I've give him his money back (plus shipping both ways).
It was wrapped in bubble wrap and inside a bubble mailer (for double bubble protection) but it sure got smashed.

Looks like they had a guy with a ballpeen hammer postmarking stuff when you shipped that one!
(Seriously, I wonder if the hit with the postmark stamp is what did that?)

if thin and regular sized - may go through the autosorter and corner may have gotten it
excellent visibility. ( except the edge )
when technology gives us a material that is bullet-proof and still affordable,
cracking out a coin will be a REAL challenge !
In the meantime, mail your slabs in a box instead of an envelope.
