    Thanks for the info, Cameron!

I wonder if anyone thinks the seller, Greattoning, has any AT coins for sale?

    You rang?

That's a gorgeous Maundy set- which is not surprising, considering who's selling it.

Here's a story of the history of Maundy Thursday, and how they came to give out the coins on that day.

You might post it on the World Coin forum, i.e., "The Darkside". Posting such things here for the Litesiders is like the proverbial "casting pearls before swine", LOL. image

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Thanks for link on the Maundy Sets. The publishers of that website have a page called "I've Found An Old Coin, What's It Worth?" and address the topic in a humorous fashion which is worth reading. There's a great comment on the subject of collecting coins vs. dating Cindy Crawford. Kind of funny stuff.

I'm sure if they really want them, they already know about them. I know at least one darksider who has the item on his watch list. image
