Is anyone happy when they get an MS 63 grade?

I know it depends on the coin, but consider one's from the 20th century. Are there any MS 63's that you would have received recently that you have been happy about? Please discount the really rare ones.

on a 53 S Frankie, I'll take all the ms63fbl grades I can get.

I am happy with MS63's especially if I get them cheap and raw from ebay.

Can you think of one that is not a key in the series that you want in MS63?

Can anyone else write it better than I'm trying to????

For most 20th century coins 63 is not a special grade in the least. There are exceptions, mainly in the key and semi-key dates and some condition rarities. I have a submission in right now (all 19th cent) and would be happy with 63 on any of them.

I would have been happy with an MS63 on a '95-O Morgan I submitted a while back.

I cracked out a Lincoln 1914-S from an AU58 older green PCI holder and sent to NGC and received an MS63 Brown. As bad as PCI is, there is still some cherrypickin material out there.

I just got back several MS-63 grades that I"m very happy with: 1899 $20; 1861-O half dollar; 1855 Half dime. I would love to get all my coins to at least MS-63. I have far too many VG or lower coins that easily run five figures in MS-63.

I have had a few $5 indians and liberty's grade in the last year that I was very happy to get a 63 on and I find the 63 grade to be the start of nice looking uncirculated coins. mike

Well, not too recent. But back in 2000 I bought a raw $20 saint from ebay as a MS-62 that I thought (after looking at the grading guide) might be a 63. When I really got back into the hobby last year, I submitted it. It came back 63 and I was happy.

I sent in an NGC MS61 1923-S Merc, came back DNC, sent it back Raw and got MS63. I was as happy as can be.

Not when I believe 63 is an undergrade, and I don't want 62s graded as 63.

There are quite a few coins I collect where 63 is in the right price range for me, so ....

Bought a 1903-O Barber Half and a 1922 Grant Half raw for EF/AU money. Both came back MS63 from NGC. I'm a happy guy--particularly about the Barber.

Is anyone happy when they get an MS 63 grade?
