Looking at the clad Proofs for the first five years I am disappointed. There are a few good and many mediocre designs. Do you think the second half of the program will see an improvement in designs or will it be more of the same?
I had to vote "Probably not". The desire to "offend no one and include everyone" is just too strong so we'll get more lame crap.

Although, I really love the silver proofs. And, I think there will be some good surprises in the future. There are a couple states I am very much looking forward to.

had a chance to see some of the pitfalls. A big improvement seems unlikely.
for a $2.00 roll of .05.That will make you vomit.
<< <i> Don't the "States" have a large say-so as to the design of their quarter reverse?? >>
Not really. they can have all the design contests they want, but when they are ready to send the designs in to the Mint all the mint wants is a WRITTEN description of the general concept. They have said that they will not even look at artwork. Then the mint engravers will create a design based on the written concept description. They have been moving that way for some time but after the CA design that is the way all of the future designs are supposed to be created.
