I have no doubt that the coin JB pictured is real toning Agent Jim, but if you believe there are no coins in NGC holders with accelerated toning on them, you believe in the tooth fairy!
In an insane society, a sane person will appear to be insane.
This Ike was toned in the Gov't brown Ike holder. For some reason a majority of the toned brown Ikes are dated 1974-S. I wonder why the Ikes toned in the Gov't holders and the GSA Morgans didn't tone in the Gov't holders?
You are all lucky to have such nicely toned coins!
I especially liked the 84 olympic dollar. I've always though it was an awesome design, period(not just awesome for a modern). That eagle kicks a@#!!!!!!!
I don't have a lot of toned coins, I'm running out of material for these posts. Must buy more toned coins. I do have one more that I don't have a good picture of. I will be getting a new digicam soon. will image it then.
I'm stunned at what prices nice toner Morgans are getting on ebay these days. I had 4 sniper bids waiting over the past weekend, and none of them were even close.

It's a scan, so the colors aren't nearly done justice. Oh, it's also a rim clip

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

JB, I have A few nice dmpl's in my collection. They are however very hard to photograph. I was trying something new and got a pretty good photo of one of them. As I get some more time I'll photo the rest and post them if they come out as nice as this one.
I saw one at the Silver dollar show that was like that coins toning times 10! It was the wildest toned Frnaklin I have ever seen. TBT also saw it with somekind of $7k price tag. I think it was a 67FBL PCGS holdered common date.

You get the Eagle Eye award.
I wish you hadn't posted the holder. We could have gotten the toning "experts" here to tell us how "baked" that coin is.
The Ludlow Brilliant Collection (1938-64)
he was not saying it is AT but rather he was saying that some of the "experts" from the board might say it was AT.
