How soon do the results of the Floor bidding auction become known?

<< <i>I was the ONLY floor bidder in the room when the bidding ended at 11:30am! It was pretty funny. Even the ladies who work for Heritage were laughing >>
Michael, please clarify your remark - were they laughing at what you were bidding on, or, your appearance?

Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !

MFH -- I meant to say I was the only floor spectator, not actual bidder.

At least the dinner was pretty decent.
I loved watching Bob Merrill in action. I thought he had retired. In fact, I was thrilled to see him joking with the audience. I even bid $6 more than I wanted just to be able to say I won something from him. I even joked with him about it afterwards.

He really is great. I thought I was bidding on livestock! He really is entertaining!

A bit more than two decades ago
I used to call sales for Heritage back then and it was a blast, especially, the interactions I had with many of the bidders.
He also says "thank you" a lot to the floor bidders when they bid, a trait I no longer see in auctioneers.
To the other collectors who have never seen him in action, it is worth the price of admission (free) to sit for an hour or so, enjoy a soft drink or even a meal if you really stick around!
He is indeed a class act.
