$13.50 for shipping one morgan dollar
What is this idiot thinking? I know there are people who make their money on the shipping but this is ridiculous!

At least he was smart enough to open it at $4.99 PLUS put a reserve of $4.99.
For $13.50+ he should give the coin away and just charge shipping.

maximum amount I would want to bid. I will admit that this guy
IS a bit whacked, though.
" Does the $13.50 shipping include 2 day or overnight shipping?"
Oh you are correct..i had help in listing and didn't catch the mistake...that's what i get for teaching and not watching when telling...S& H is the average ..so go ahead and bid

She's skiriting the issue. To her average could mean $10.
<< <i>"the average", sounds like she's skirting the issue. What is the exact amt?

I looked over the seller's previous coin auctions. They've charged $5.00-$6.50 + insurance.

Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.
Postal rates have really gone up. That's why you see the higher shipping costs.
this was an error in shipping..i was teaching someone to do listings and wasn't watching..sorry for the inconvenience..it will go at the average shipping rate...thanks for bringing this to my attention...
Deb
Sounds like an honest mistake.

<< <i>Hmmh! Insurance really doesn't serve a purpose for the exception of looking good on the package. It's really a large rip-off by the U.S.P.S.. Just try to collect on a claim; experience the bull$hit you've got to go through...It's pathetic.... >>
OK ... If the coin gets lost or stolen in the mail, who takes the hit? Are you willing to say as the buyer, I'll eat $450, or do you expect the seller to eat it?
One of the finest known 1873 cents with the doubled LIBERTY was lost in the mail. Would you like to be the one who had to eat the loss on that one? Yes, one can make one's self "insurance poor," but sometimes it makes sense to spend a little money on it.

I received a similar reply. I agree; honest mistake! I think I would pull the listing tho.
Thanks
The response "go ahead and bid..that was an error while i was teaching someone how to list...it will be the average normal shipping price...sorry for the inconvenience...my fault, i didn't catch the mistake before it was too late...
make a bid.."'
Deb
