I am no longer a PCGS virgin.

I submitted my first 4 freebies today ... all morgans. What is the usual turn around time for freebies? Can I expect to see them before Christmas? image

    I shipped mine 9/26, they posted it as received 9/29 and grades (not coins) received today. I posted the grades in another note a few hours ago.

  • I finally sent my 4 freebies in also. They were recieved on 10/14. I cant' wait for the grades. I have a feeling that I might be taught a lesson on the way they grade after reading all the other posts. My biggest fear is the "body bagged-cleaned" result.

  • Paul;
    Which of your Morgans did you submit?

    I submitted 2 1878's, 1 1881, and 1 1882, all CC's. I am hoping for MS63/64 on all 4 coins. Lets hope I am not terribly disappointed either.

    I haven't decided on my freebies yet. I think that I will screen them on the board prior to deciding to hopefully avoid any problems. I'm still virginal.

    image I keep going to ebay and drooling over the 1889's. I think I will have to save for a long time in order to be able to afford one of those. Maybe I will talk to jbstevens and see what he has in stock.

    I'm having a real hard time resisting the urge to say something about getting screwed like the rest of us.

    Your still a virgin UNTIL you've gotten screwed - let us know what happens!

    I was thinking exactly that on my way home today. I will be a virgin until I get a body bagged coin back.
