Ok, I buy a Washie from a certian un-named member here........ He has the nerve to send this eyesore! Buyer beware!

sorry about the glare, I kept the coin in the flip which cause alot of the glare....
Now, doesn't this member have alot of nerve to pull a stunt like this on the HepKitty?

This member had the audacity to tone this coin for many years in a Wayte Raymond folder... all the while he was coniving and preying
on whom his victim would be..... After many years went by, he found this forum, then pulled the whool over my eyes....

My old Ma had some collector teaspoons that looked those quarters. All we had was a can of Brasso.....that stuff works on all metal.....give it a try! She was sure happy with the results!!

These gorgeous Toners are knockouts and are headed to PCGs.......! That quarter has outstanding luster and is really pretty in person as the coin is being rotated..... The Roosie is very nice as well........... as for the member who sold me these...

Second, why is it that I can never get this folks to part with the beauties they post - every time I see one of these '58s (or 1878 Morgans) with that look I inquire, to no avail, which leads me to:

Third, when I saw that coin (and the other '58) posted in the thread, I considered asking if they were available, but, since my experience has always been as I mentioned above, I didn't bother to ask.

It is pretty splotchy but the colors are decent so I wouldn't be too pissed as long as I was around bullion on it. Being raw, though, I would be highly suspect of it unless I saw it in person first.

Are you still after nicely toned 1958 coins? I do have this quarter that I will give you first crack at before it goes onto BST (where the other one was listed, btw, congrats Lucy sharp eye!) I know this is not the place to sell coins but I will PM you with a good price, I still feel bad that i wanted to keep that other one I posted some months ago, now NGC MS66*. Anyway, this one is a no problem MS65+ IMO:
