My ANA purchases (D and O gold coins)

Well, I could not make the show, but it did not stop me from getting a couple of nice coins (nice coins and excellent photography courtesy of Doug Winter):

I likey what you got!
The $2.50 is PCGS-58, and the $5 is NGC-58. I may be done for the year as well.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
W-O-W.
Awesome!
only cost me $479 + tax
Great additions to an already top notch southern mint gold collection
Nice finds (kudos to Doug). So that's what a southern branch mint classic head $2.50 is suppose to look like. I guess my 1839-C $2.5 is missing a little detail
I like your 39-C just fine. Circulated southern gold coins have quite a bit of chararcter. I particularly like them dark and "crusty".
Super! I bid on a boatload of these classics from southern mints and won none, not even close.
BTW, you suck!
Thanks...I think. I bid a few and was blown away on several and the underbidder on a couple. I tend to not bid aggressively because I am afraid of making a mistake. I would rather go through the dealer route.
If you are interested in southern gold, you might consider joining the Southern Gold Society. PM me if you want more info.

It looks as if you made some nice acquisitions. I really like your New Orleans quarter eagle. The Dahlonega looks nice too. Looks like Doug has been doing a good job.
