I was going to actually try to make this show this time, now that school is out, but I fly to Colorado this Sunday for three weeks - two of which are for the Summer Seminar. Hopefully I can sometime this summer. Always sounds like a nice little show.

    I had better make it.

I am picking up a nice PCGS Peace $ from a board member (whose name I won't mention in case he wouldn't want it mentioned!)image

FrattLaw - I can bring my PCGS Peace $ doubles and see if you want any. Most are either white or toned kind of darkly (not rainbow).

I should be there at 9:00.

Always buying music cards of artists I like! PSA or raw! Esp want PSA 10s 1991 Musicards Marx, Elton, Bryan Adams, etc. And 92/93 Country Gold AJ, Clint Black, Tim McGraw PSA 10s

JJ -- Sure bring them along so I can have a look. By the way the PCGS Peace $ you're getting wouldn't be TONED would it?

Cameron --- We were to be graced by the "good guy" himself? That's an awfully long ride for you isn't it? Too bad you can make it. From what I've seen dealers throw out sample slabs in the trash after the show. They're easy pickins! image

I'll be there again. It's a relaxing show. Long drive, but easy to get to. Not stressful like Long Beach.

I really wanted to come. Maybe next month then. 2 1/2 hours I think by car. Sample slabs by the bunchfull? I will drive anywhere to see that.image

It's probably not a big enough show to justify a 2.5 hour drive. It takes me about 1.5 hours and it's a little over 90 miles, but the drive isn't bad and it's a straight shot, freeways all the way.

If you have sample slabs, they will come.

    Michael,

Sorry, it wouldn't fit in with the rest of my set if it were toned!image I'll bring my Peace $ doubles and see if there's any you like.

JJ -- I know I was just joshn' you.

Cameron -- I swear they just throw those things away. I've seen them sell for $5-$10 per slab and there's dozens of them. image

I was thinkin' maybe we should do a lunch @ the show. Everytime I go I spend more time talking then looking, but IMHO if everyone got there early and got the looking out of the way, we all could sit down for lunch around 1pm when we were done and then BS! Any thoughts?

Also, I'll miss Strat this month.image

I saw MrLee, Nucklehead, and lots of overgraded coins there today. I walked away feeling like the most conservative grader in the world! Other than that, it was a good show.image

Another fun show! I only bought some unc. Roosevelts for my Whitman and an off center 1996 Jefferson plus a 2003 proof set. It was great seeing everyone there, quite a few board members showed up. Sorry Claw you were'nt up to going but that's understandable,it is a bit of a drive for you. the next show will be July 13.
