    Well, I always say if a war breaks out around here home is where I want to beimage. Too many to list but my favorite in a 1903 Colt .380 auto. stainless steel, hand engraved ( with a letter of Autheticity from the Nat'l engravers society) and mother of pearl grips. One sweet looking pistol. I paid $2500.00 for it about 10 years ago.
    I seen someone say Texas has the most guns. I would like to put Pa. up against Texas on that one. I don't know many people around here that don't have guns.
    Spooly, The big thing in muzzle loaders around here are the new in-line muzzle loaders. They are made by various mfgs. They now made them legal in Pa.. Not something I agree with but Oh well!!!!

    It may shock some of the northern, or more liberal, or more clueless among us, but a gentleman is supposed to own at least one shotgun. It is a fact. I have shot guns, handguns, and a rifle.

    1-45/60 (pride and joy)

    Sounds nice. I like cowboy guns, and some day I'd like to get a nice hog leg/lever gun combo. I'd also like to get a Sharps .45-70. If I ever get into percussion revolvers, I think I'll go for an 1847 Walker. Perhaps I should practice on a cheap 1860 Army knock-off.

    About 20 long guns, and a dozen handguns. But I live in Mississippi . . . I actually shoot them.

    I always wanted to toss a coin in the air and shoot it!

    Largest cartridge: .300 Weatherby / 10 guage / 44mag.

    Fastest? 22-250 -----------------> 4000 fps.

    Favorite? two Colt .45 ACP's turned into race guns.

    I've got an order in for a S&W .500 magnum. Anybody got one of those yet???

    I am 52. My dad gave me my first gun, a single shot .22, at age 6. I still have it along with every gun I have ever puchased. Just counted and listed for insurance purposes last week. I have 37 shotguns, 62 rifles and 52 handguns. A minimum of 100 rounds for each. I live in SC and I hunt and target shoot. I have taught everyone in my family to shoot. My wife is an excellent shot with her .22

    Rifles = 0
    Shotguns = 9
    Handguns = 17 Favorite: Was my 1911A1 magna-ported Colt with micro sights until I sold it. Now it's my TC 30/30 Contender, but that could change at a moments notice. Least favorite: Erma toggle-top .22, what a piece of crap. Guaranteed to stovepipe every third round.

    Had a 45/70 trap door Springfield but sold it last year. That was my only rifle.

    Oh, BTW...I'm in the northeast.

    Cheers,

    Bob

    None at the moment but I will probably get a semi automatic pistol one of these days, but I'll have to find someplace where I can practice with it until I become proficient. I can do well with a rifle but I've never worked with a pistol.

    Slingshots and big clubs?

    That would about size it up for many of the recent immigrants

    actually

    rifles range from 22 short to 300Win Mag - semis, bolt single shots and black powder
    shotguns: 410 - 10ga single shots, O/U, S/S, slide,semi and BP
    handguns: 22 short - 45/70 semi, revolvers and single shot T/Cs and black powder revolvers and single shot

    ammo, powder etc for everything except the 32short wall hanger

    Posness/Warren progressive reloader

    The guys that sell bulk ammo and military surplus ammo cans love this area

    Also, someone asked if keeping coins in ammo cans will tone them? the answer is yes it will. Is it AT? It sure was not intentional and if any really good looking ones show up we will let PCGS decideimage

    Joe, I have a 9mm berretta with two 30 round magazines which I picked up in Florida...I know they are not legal but if there were a war to start in this country...I am ready. Just wonder if thirty rounds would heat that baby up and casue a miss fire.
  • Options
    dlimb ~ nope, 30 rounds rapid fire won't ruin it
  • Options
    ElectricEye. Thank you that is a good thing to know...as I have not tried it.
  • Options
    DMWJRDMWJR Posts: 5,993 ✭✭✭✭✭
    Those 30 round magazines are not illegal to own in most states. I would be surprised if they were illegal to own in Florida. All pre-ban magazines were grandfathered in when the federal laws were changed.
    Doug
  • Options
    DMWJR, I bought the magazines in Florida so I guess they dont have a law regarding them...but here in the state that I live in, 10 round is all you can get.
  • Options
    DMWJRDMWJR Posts: 5,993 ✭✭✭✭✭
    If the magazines were made before the ban went into effect, they can still be sold by the manufacturer under the Federal law.

    PS I have a couple of 50 round clips for my Ruger 10/22. That's a box per clip. Boy is it fun to shoot! If I could figure out a way to make it fully automatic without damaging the gun or getting arrested, I would REALLY rock and roll.

    When firing a gun:

    Rule #1: Do not put your finger in front of the barrel because the bullets come out reeeaaaal fast.
