Doesnt matter, the toning works against it anyway!

I think the toning is authentic, from what I can see.
PNG member, numismatic dealer since 1965. Operates a retail store, also has exhibited at over 1000 shows.
I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

I would agree from the pics. Pat bring it to the lunch next week.

It has the same applied color scheme I've seen on AU Bust/Seated halves that are AT. The rim color bleeds into the portrait (one shade of dark green) and the color rolls onto the rim.
All indications to me is it's AT.

His agenda's not very hidden when he says bring it to lunch next week.
TBT clearly wants to eat it.

It is in a PCGS holder, whether the toning is AT or Natural is irrelevant now! It has the numismatic stamp of approval, despite all opinions to the contrary! image
