George Morgan or William and Charles Barber?

My preference is Morgan, hands down.

Based only on the coins I've seen, it's a bit of a toss up. I'd say 51% for Morgan. 49% for the Barbers.

Morgan on the basis of the obverse for the Illinois/Lincoln commemorative. Truly one of the great portraits of Lincoln.

Morgan but mainly for his designs that were never adopted. The Schoolgirl dollar and the Shield Earring quarter, half dollar and dollar.

I think it is interesting that Morgan designed the obverse of the Illinois centennial commerative and J.R. Sinnock is credited with designing the reverse which is strikingly similar to an earlier Morgan design used on the reverse of the Schoolgirl dollar.
