It gets worse...

lordmarcovanlordmarcovan Posts: 43,241 ✭✭✭✭✭
...and worse, every day.

Unbelievable.

<< <i>Yes, it is a real coin. WE took it to an aprezol, and he said it is real, and only a few of this size were made during 1877. You can clearly read "liberty" on the headband. Also, on the edges it says "united states of america". Thank you >>

Whatinhell is an "aprezol"?

<< <i>This is very rear coin >>

I'll say. Smells like something that came out of your rear. image

I think he means appraisal. And the person who won it has an interesting userid. But I don't know if it's a bogus one or not. But if they don't know what they're doing, they got what they deserve.

An aprezol is an appraiser; I thought that was common knowledge. LOLOL

I don't know any aprezols. I guess they are very rear in this part of the country.

I wondered about that winner, too. Damn if I know why. image

Right in the auction it says:

    << <i>and has 3 inches in diameter >>

And yet it gets bid to $158? eBay is crawling with the reading impaired.

On a case like this...would any of you guys email the winner and tell him out of mercy???I really hate to see this.

BAJJERFAN, you're right. They deserve what they got. image

$158 is probably cheap. It says it's "made of some king of metal." King of metal doesn't come cheap.

    << <i>Yes, it is a real coin >>

It is not a real coin. The US mint never made coasters! E-mail the high bidder and have him report this asswipe for fraud!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

I'm of the opinion that the high bidder knows what he or she got.

You guys just aren't up with the times. There's a new group called the "Ebay Society of Aprezols." I think that they are related to the Power Seller organization. image

For you that don't know what an <<<aprezol>>> just read the auction. It clearly tells you it's a place you take 3" coins to.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
