Unless there is a prolonged war, I believe that whatever the effects are, they have already been factored in.
We have been fortunate to have enjoyed a pretty darned good coin market in the midst of some tough economic times. I can only imagine how wonderful things might have been, had the economy been booming during the past few years.

I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

I don't think it'll have any direct affect on my business, which is still pretty small-scale, anyway. Small-scale, but booming!

I must say that the bear market in stocks has made me a far better and more diversified investor going forward. I am glad that it occurred so early in my life cycle (I am 37).
Anyways, going forward, both coin dealers (one in particular) and Fidelity, T Rowe Price, Vanguard, etc will both be getting my new funds.

P.S. If anyone wants to start a mutual fund thread, I used to be a community volunteer at the AOL/Sage mutual fund message boards, and I would be happy to participate. I know a heck a lot more about funds than coins (not saying much).
