The Frankie was just a coincidence (though, a good one!). It's just that particular brand of slab doesn't stack well with all my other ones.

Beautiful. I don't know if it was intentional our not, but the way you've hit into the slab, the visible letters in the upper left corner read "IN HALF"

Since you used a metal screwdriver rather than a wooden stake, the slab may come back to life.

WACoinGuy, No, it wasn't intentional... but, that's a very good observation!

Actually, I ended up with four pieces and a fifth piece that flew across the basement, never to be seen again.

jgrech, In case you try to duplicate this project at home... it's not a screwdriver, it's a scratch-awl. One good hit with a 16oz. hammer... there was little resistance.

I didn't want to ruin a perfectly good awl... probably wouldn't hurt the hammer, though......
