Newest Capped Bust Half Dollar added to my set

pcgscacgoldpcgscacgold Posts: 3,875 ✭✭✭✭✭

As soon as Dave Kahn's email hit my inbox I went to his site, read his description and watched the video. That's all I needed to add it to the cart and checkout. I did cross my fingers and hoped someone else would not take it first. Dave has a video posted on his site. Just use the Archive feature and click on the coin.

Dave states "Ex Chuck Link and Hoosier collections. A pretty darn amazing coin. There is real flash under the thick, golden-gray dirt patina, with full, flowing cartwheel and luster over every surface. To be perfectly honest, I don’t think the coin ever circulated, and I don’t see anything that could realistically be called wear. The surfaces are lovely, the strike is as full as the 103 comes, and the eye appeal is mesmerizing."

I am down to the 1815 and 1821 to close out the date set. I have some work ahead but getting very close. After selling/trading a few at the ANA I was finally able to work my way back to 50 DM's.

Nice coin but wow on those two sets of images! Like night and day. Guess the lighting does matter.

Nice pick up Tom! She looks like a very solid coin. And 20's aren't easy, that's for sure. B)
