My Newest Standing Liberty Quarter.

This is one of my top 3 favorite coin series to collect. I just love the artistry of the obverse design. Found this 1920-S SLQ at a recent local show. Even though it lacks FH and rivot details, the overall appearance is pleasing.

    That's a nice SLQ!

Very nice. That is excellent rivot (and shield) detail. All the rivots are visible, which is not usually the case.

    Nice gem SLQ!

I have that issue in an NGC 3.0 in the same grade with a CAC sticker.

These Coins have really come up in value and the premiums for the old holders are rising exponentially.

I knew that buying it was definitely the right move.

@Walkerfan, thanks. Definitely a better issue with a lower surviving pop. Picture of yours? Zack.

    Very nice addition 👍

Head is incomplete, but the rivets are very good and she’s fully original. No friction on the knee, either. The date is weak but that’s par for the course. Overall, I think she’s beautiful. ;) 🤩

Nice coin and really early NGC holder. Sorry that I misunderstood you. I thought yours was a 1920-S.

No, it’s my fault. I am just now realizing that yours is a 20-S! I either looked at it too quickly or just assumed it was a Philadelphia. That is a much better date. Congratulations!!

@Walkerfan, I think the 1920 Philly comes nicely struck, even with a lightly impressed date and head detail. The rivots and shield are well struck on this issue. Here’s my example.

The first coin, the 20-S is a very nice coin .... that's a tough date in Gem, especially when it has a nice strike (that one does, even if it isn't "full"). Congratulations!

Especially starting in 1920 it can be hard to find dates that are fully struck. 1920 philly is all over the place as it is the highest mintage for the entire series.
    Thats a great looking 20-S.

My first ever SLQ. Not high grade, but a grade I tend to like (P58), not a high cost item but I just kept checking on it, a sure sign that I will regret it later if I don’t buy it. Made an offer, was accepted, voila! Love the tone and the overall look. Comments welcome!

Looks nice, but what grade is "P58"? Your coin looks like a nice AU53 or 55 to me.

@GuzziSport more appropriate to start your own thread if you are looking for comments on a coin not featured by the OP.
