Has anyone used Klarna to pay for eBay items?
I'm curious to hear about anyone's experiences with Klarna.

No, I just wait until I can actually afford it
Isn't it basically just a payment system that has optional payment options (like PayPal) it you want them?

I agree. I've always done the same. I'm just curious if it's a viable option if ever needed.
Edited to add that if I need some time I'd use my credit card and at least earn the points.
N9 and mot interested
Great help. Thank you.
I've used it. When you go through the checkout process there are different payment plans. The only one I've used was the zero interest 4-payment plan. It spreads it out with 4 equal payments 2 weeks apart. It worked fine and I didn't pay any interest or fees.
There are of course, other options for longer plans and they include interest. So I've never gone that route.
I tried, they had a $20 off ebay coupon if you paid with Klarna. I signed up on the Klarna site, filled out all the personal info, then moved to bank info. I tried attaching a credit card, and it failed. Contacted customer service and was told I had to use either debit card or bank account info. Wasn't thrilled, but entered my debit card for a burner bank account that I keep for moments like this. I then get a "one more step" step.
To complete my account setup, I had to either send a picture of my driver's license, or a selfie, supposedly for biometric identification. Since Klarna doesn't have a picture of me on file, or access to one, I fail to see how that's going to authenticate me. I called customer service again to see if the final step could be skipped, and was told no.
I told them to delete my account setup so far and made my ebay purchase without the coupon. Wasn't worth $20 to me to give some company I never heard of personal info they don't need.
Unless it is a once in a lifetime chance or close to it, I usually am against taking on debt for a luxury item.
I'd like to use it as they offer a discount when I check out for doing so but they also require a lot of personal info I don't feel comfortable sharing so I passed.
