Something is wrong with set rankings
I've noticed that my 1936-42 proof set, which has a current rank of #4 shows a rank of #9 on the public set page.
The ranking on the public page seems to be including sets that are retired which is bumping the "current rank" down by 5 places.
It does not make sense that "current rank" includes retired sets, if they want to use that it should be called "all time rank", and there should be another stat for "current rank" which only includes active sets.

Stumbled across this public set page which does show ranking based on current sets

Having two different public set pages is confusing, why not just one that shows the information from both??

First I agree that for the All time finest page that it would help clarify if the set ranking stated All Time Finest (or ATF) Current Rank.
Here is the way the pages are set up.
Starting from the Proof Sets page:
https://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/u-s-coins/proof-sets/22
If one goes down and selects the particular set they want to view, in this case '1936-1942 Proof Set', then it will take you to the page for current active sets (link below), This is what I would call the default Set page. It shows your set as #4 in the Current Finest. If you click on your set, then it will bring up your set and shows it with the #4 Current Rank (the one link in the second post above).

The above Set page (similar to most all Set pages) has an All Time Finest (top 5) at the top of the Set page. Just below this All Time Finest is a link to 'View Entire All Time Finest List'. Clicking that will take you to the page that shows 'All' the sets retired and active. Some people like to see this list for various reasons. Link below.

Clicking on your set in the All Time Finest will bring it up and show it as #9 in the All Time Finest set list.
This makes sense when searching through the sets as I did above. But if one accesses the two listings through various other searches, then yes it can be confusing because when viewing the All Time Finest individual set page and the Current active individual set page there is no distinction between the two rankings. Which goes back to my initial 'First I agree...' But it does make sense to have two different pages for Active sets and All Time sets as both are used depending on what one wants to see.
