Interesting game @ Cincinnati Saturday. The Bearcats play a undefeated top 10 team for the second week in a row. They knocked off #8 Texas Tech last week. This week they have #6 Utah. Will see if they can play spoilers for the second straight week.

What to make of Cincinnati if they pull off the upset?? Assuming they do, what’s the harm in ranking them in the Top 10 as the AP Voters like to do with all the other pretenders??

I would probably put them in the top 15 with a win on Saturday.

    Florida vs Georgia thoughts?

Florida keep it close or get run over?

12.5 seems a bit much even though GA will come out pissed off. Rivalry game at a neutral site at the Falcons stadium and bot schools get the same amount of tickets so crowd will be pretty split. No real home field advantage even though GA will will be the "home team"

I like GA money line but but could easily see FL scoring late to cover the spread or the game just being close the whole time

The SEC is such a messy toss-up right now that none of the games can be predicted. Nobody, no matter how tuned in they are or how smart they pretend to be can predict that Conference. My thoughts as a guy who knows nothing is that the players don’t really matter, it’s more about the coaching decisions and the game plans.

Well, there are a few good games on this weekend so I'm wondering what everyone will be watching. I'll follow all games until it's time to head out to watch the late game in SoCal.

Arizona vs. Texas Tech --- curious to see if TT loses again and gets out of the way.
Auburn vs. Ole Miss --- same here, move over for a new wave of pretenders.
Arizona State vs. BYU --- which version of BYU will show up??
Florida vs. Georgia --- I'm thinking the Bulldogs might be PO'd, but can they rebound??
Minnesota vs. Indiana --- can the Hoosiers figure out their own offense??
Northwestern vs. Oregon --- NW is movin' up.
Utah vs. Cincinnatti --- upset alert!!
Miami vs. UNC --- how many points will the Hurricanes score??
Ohio State vs. USC --- will the Buckeyes defense save the day and who will the QB be?? My bet: Fahey starts, St. Clair finishes.

Minnesota kicks a 60 yard FG to go up 16-13 with 20 seconds to go and they let Indiana go right to mid field on 1 play and tie it with a 57 yard FG lol

Indianas struggle continue. Cig benched their QB at half time and looked a little different but not world beating.

OU fans are gonna be in hell as long as Venables is the coach. The real USC is good and Sellers went off but that was an absolute beat down that looks closer than it should with starters coming out waiting for the clock to expire.

Listening to the Ohio State radio broadcast, the announcers stated that Ohio State hasn’t scored a TD in the LA Coliseum when playing USC since 1949!!

Hypethetical question: IF USC is unranked at 6 - 2 (now 7 - 2), then what is Ohio State gonna be ranked at 6 - 2 after getting beat by USC???????

QB wasnt the problem. Defense and dropped passes/ Yea there were some missed throws but if the WRs are gonna drop it and the line is gonna make SoCal look like they have an elite defense its not on him

you can spin it however you want, but they're winning nothing with that true freshman QB at the helm. not even remotely the same team -- listen to your eyes. they held on for dear life against Indiana when he came in, then last night they got punked when they were forced to play an entire game with him. he had a bunch of yards when USC was up big and went soft, otherwise it was another ugly stat line.

they're going to be forced to win games like Indiana does from here on out -- in spite of their quarterback. good luck with that.

when Sayin got hurt, their season ended

Ohio State didn’t lose because of Fahey and they wouldn’t have won had Sayin played. The defensive was uninspired and just terrible, about the way they have played all season. There is seemingly no pass rush and the coverage downfield leaves too many open receivers. Any competent QB can find the holes.

As I’ve said before, College Football is a case where success can be the enemy. Last season the Buckeyes had a really good defense but they lost between 6-8 starters and haven’t filled those holes.

Strangest of all things is their place kicker. In the past that has always been a problem but he was perfect last night. Go figure!! 😇😇😇

The game turned on that stand by USC just before the half when the Ohio State penalty problem raised its head. A TD there and the 2nd half kickoff with points changes the game.

No. You’re wrong! They didn’t lose because they weren’t inspired! They lost because they were inspired. Inspired to suck. I can tell you now there is no way OSU wins that game at full strength because they have been bad all season. I completely agree with Maywood 100%. Diagnosis: NoInspiraDosis.

Amazing that Fahey actually had a better game than USC's QB and OSU outgained USC by over 100 yards. Bad weather was def a factor. Miss tackles, dropped passes, and tons of dumb OSU penalties. I'm not worried about this team at all. Day just needs to clean up the stupid mistakes.

@coolstanley, at one point during the 3rd period I checked the team stats on my phone. Ohio State had dominated, they actually were ahead in time of possession by 24 to 12 minutes, yardage 255 to 215. The defense just couldn’t do anything. The killer for me was 3rd and 18 at about the 20, USC ran for a 1st down.

Matt Patricia looked uncomfortable the entire game.

Good games coming up.....OSU 9.5-point favorite over the Ducks. Notre Dame favored over Miami.
Bama vs LSU is probably an elimination game.

for me the biggest question is, where's the stud backup?

preeminent program in college football, yet their relief pitcher is a 3-star true freshman. really? lol

you really prepared well for that catastrophe OSU

next 4 weeks: Oregon, Northwestern, Nebraska, Michigan

you best find a way to run that table, otherwise you're going to be on the couch making out with Michigan during the CFP

and the Wolverines like to use a LOT of tongue

Lincoln Kienholz was at OSU for 3 years, he would have been the backup. He hit the portal last year and went to Louisville where he starts and has some purdy good stats.

and btw, Indiana can't be taken seriously either

they're basically the Minnesota Vikings of the college ranks

skating by marginal teams by way of their defense

    not sustainable
