Opening vintage football during World Series
Planing on opening what I consider vintage a 1979 football vending box tonight while watching the World Series. On my bday. Tough vending box that I’ve never really seen offered until the recent 3 cases were found a few months ago. This set got me started really trading cards in the early 90s. Found a small hoard of them in a storage unit back in the late 80s. Opened several tray packs, some racks, never a cell or or wax box. And this will be my first vending box from this year. And only the second vending I’ve ever opened. The other a 1988 topps baseball vending box. Want a nuts centered newsome, shell,Campbell, or Payton!!

Absolutely love the 79 set. It was right in my little kid wheelhouse. I think the card design sort of makes a lot of the photos look squeezed but some super-cool photos in that set. So jealous...

First key card.
Don’t know much about vending but this one does have a musty smell. Fun turning the card over to see the centering one by one.

Centering isn’t to bad but they do have dings.
