It’s a surprise GTG!
In addition to the TrueView, there is a video of the reverse on my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0XNY_FvvVU/?stkn=eGNldGszbzIzbWU5

MS-65 D/D.
I did not look at the video as the color does not change the grade for me, I do realize that it does for PCGS. My grade is MS64, my guess at the PCGS grade is MS65+ shot 66.

Im going to guess MS66 but that hit on the top of the head might knock the grade down.
Its a nice looking coin.

I love the color and original patina, much prefer this than a 62-D that's blast white in the same grade. Color for these later dates from the early 60's seems to be tougher to find, so its safe to assume this may very well have toned in a roll as an ender based on the vivid colors, an album possibly? but its very crusty.
If this coin was blast white, I see this grading a 64 or 65. The 60's dates have a tendency for being graded less harshly for some odd reason and even cac stickered when toned with nicer color.
Taking into account the toning pcgs certainly would've bumped this up a pt.
MS66 only and only because of color. Without color an easy 64.

My guess is 63 that includes a 1 point color bump. Abrasions on neck and left obverse field scratches. Gorgeous toning!

Beautiful toning on that '62-D! Solid MS64 details on the strikes and fields, but PCGS usually rewards color like this pretty nicely. I'll guess MS65+.
64, it's a nice coin, but has too many marks for anything higher.

MS64, though I could see it having an MS65

64 with machine doubling on the mintmark. Not an RPM.
Same here, 64
Maybe my eyes are interpreting the gray devices as wear, but my gut reaction to the pictures was AU58. Sure is pretty, though.

Grade Reveal
The grade is MS66 CAC. Shoutout to @BruceS who nailed it first.
This is perhaps the most perplexing coin in my collection. I don't understand the PCGS grade. I don't understand the toning—half of the coin's luster is completely occluded on both obverse and reverse, and I've never seen slivers of intense rainbow (my video link in the OP shows it best) quite like that on the thousands of other WQs I've evaluated. And I don't understand why it earned a CAC sticker, given that and what other commenters pointed out.
In any case, I've had it in my WQ set for years now and still haven't found a better one to upgrade to. The weird funkiness has kind of grown on me at this point. Maybe I'll never upgrade it.
As far as the RPM (or not), I'm not sure. I think it might be 002 on this variety vista page, but I'm not 100% certain: http://varietyvista.com/09b WQ Vol 2/RPMs 1962-D.htm

This is a pretty good take. Well done Matt.

Its a very nice example, thanks for sharing! Do you have video of the obverse? I know you had sent video of the reverse earlier.
No, I only have the reverse video currently. I'll try to remember to take an obv one.

Not the first time I've been surprised that CAC awarded a bean to a dark/heavy toned coin. I sent in this walker because it rounded out a submission expecting it not to bean.
