This has been my collecting focus for a little while now. I would love to see any that anybody else has and of course am always interested in buying. Please share what you have even if they’re not for sale. Collecting this series in rattler has been extremely challenging, yet very fun and rewarding.

Very nice! Did I count 4 gold stickers?

Finding early Bust coinage in old rattler holders is getting tougher by the day with how many have been cracked out over the years. Outstanding group you've assembled so far.

That’s correct! 4 golds that I’ve been fortunate to acquire.

Thank you! It’s definitely a challenge finding them. They seem to get scarcer by the day sometimes.

Amazing set! No doubt persistence and dilligence on your part to find them. As a set they really seems a statement.

That's a very cool collection. That kind of grouping takes patience and persistence, for sure.

I saw your thread the other night from a hotel (I was out of state on business) and I got a good chuckle as I had just looked up one of your coins last weekend when I was doing comp's on a new purchase that I just made.

For those that are interested (and hopefully this isn't TMI for this thread), while I can't find anything through PCGS when I look up 8100022 (not sure why), I know it was sold in Sheridan Downey's MB#59 as Lot#22.

Don't want to look? Here's how Sheridan described.

Another ancient PCGS holder, recently adorned with a gold CAC sticker. Silver-grey toning with flashes of russet iridescence. Extravagant cartwheel luster. The late die state may have confused PCGS. I see no signs of friction on this carefully preserved coin. Lot 1460 in Superior’s June 1992 sale of Richard Pugh’s collection, bringing $330. Auction tag accompanies.

    .

Anyway ... very cool coins! Congratulations!!

All good Todd! I was able to get that 31 and the 30 out of that mail bid sale! I was definitely stoked to win both of those coins. I wish I would have gotten it closer to the original price of $330!
