I felt like taking some pictures today. Post any original coin youd like.
I really like this 1878S. Its prooflike but it would need a dip to clear the fields. I would never do it. I believe it is original.

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of MS65 Morgans danced in their heads;
A nice circulated Trime as well a nicely toned No Cents V Nickel

Sometimes difficult to determine originality on an MS coin, was it dipped, or AT. But for a nice circulated 100+ year old coin, having that uniform grey or brown patina with circulation dirt is usually a good sign it is original.
Part of a toned hoard discovered in the 1950’s. They were considered as PR back then.

Thanks Buddy, how it survived from the time of Lincoln until now, in virtually pristine condition is a true miracle. Ex. Gardner, Black Cat coin.

I Know this is original; came from a bag my father and grandmother bought in '62 when he was the vault manager at the 4th National Bank of Wichita

Love the 1870 $1
She’s a looker. I had an AU58 as my type example and actually downgraded to this one. No regrets.
