Why no posts on the 1942 Mercury Dime ? I did a search (at the top of the forum page) and not much turned up. Just a few very old "looking for" posts.

The more common coins don't seem to get the attention they deserve. If you've got one share some pictures and tell us about it!
It's just a circulated common one I'm pretty sure. But I thought there would be posts on the elusive 1942/1 overdate. Were they only minted in P's and D's ? Mine doesn't appear to have a mint mark.
The 42/1 was only struck at P and D mints.
