this. i feel that a bronze sticker is actually a net negative. cards that do not have the sticker have the "potential" of getting one. bronze stickered cards do not.

They were already rejected for Silver and Gold, but not Bronze.
They could just add bronze to the database, but you're then asking them to then add a note saying they were rejected for Silver and Gold, but not Bronze?
When PSA added half grades, did you ask PSA to add notes to the database of previously graded cards to tell folks to be aware that this card that is a PSA8, was graded before half grades was available, so it could very well be an 8.5, or a 6 if graded today?

You're attributing nefarious motives because of personal reasons where logically its the right move.
And who knows, that previously rejected sticker card could very well receive a sticker the second time around.

MBA would still have the database knowing that a specific cert number has been rejected and simply reject it and repack/ship it back to the submitter without even having to review it.

Are you this vocal when PSA regrades that cracked out Pink Sparkle Refractor Ohtani #3/5 serial numbered card when all they had to do is look in the database and see they've already graded it previously, then charge the submitter only a re-holder fee, and not a full, likely upcharged, grading fee?

Have you seen the YouTuber who cracked out (200) PSA7s, 8s, and 9s Pokemon cards and re-subbed to PSA and returned with a 30% gem rate?
Re-subs are easy money it appears, for any company.

wouldnt it be assumed that if a slab "earns" a bronze sticker that it did not pass muster for either gold or silver? if it didnt get bronze, then it could be added to the database as such.

unless a card is serial numbered, it would be extrememly difficult, bordering on impossible for psa to keep track of which cards have been cracked and resubbed. of course they benefit from crack/resubs. but, like i said, unless the card is serial numbered, it would be more arduous a task than i would expect a company to go through. all MBA would need to do is simply record a cert number. super easy. would take 10 seconds.

do i think psa should have a database of serial numbered cards they have graded? of course. it would both save collectors money and would keep there process more consistent. you would not see the various grades for resubbed serial numbered cards.

i think you are assuming i have no problems with psa? of course i do. many collectors do. the big difference between a company like psa and mba starts right at the top. ANY company who has upper level executives like Brent will eventually fail and many collectors will lose money in the process. i cant stand that guy and what he did to the hobby. as long as he is in the hobby, i will be shouting warnings from the rooftops.

why in the world would mike baker ever decide to align himself with brent?
