Date/time on the 2 bags. The one on the right had the 8 in it

I had ordered one roll and one bag. The roll was in processing while the bag went to backorder. The status of the order changed to processing and it got shipped today. I am hoping to get it mid next week. I am not sure if to open it or sell unopened.
The roll arrived today in a box dated 08-10. I was a little apprehensive about not finding any privies but the 11th coin yielded one and then got another one. 2 in a roll -- not bad. The quality is nothing to write home about but it's not a mint set and packed by machines-- both my coins had reverse end rollers.

Finally got a shipping email on 2 of my BO bags, put one on the Bay for $399, I hope that one doesn't have 8, lol

So I opened up my two boxes with the rolls after much thought. The first roll had one privy in it. The second one yielded this:
Very happy I opened the box to say the least! Both boxes were dated 8/14/26. I feel like a won the Privy lottery tonight!!

I have 2 bags and 2 rolls that have been processing for nearly a week. I called in on 9/8 and found out there was a cc issue. After clearing that up they went to backorder yesterday. This evening they are showing shipped

I had 2 rolls with privy end coins. Thought for a day on it. I went ahead and opened 1 of them, it had 4 total privy coins. 1 ender roll left. I said self you should open the other as well, 6 this time !!!7 -
I feel bad for people not finding any privies. I hope at least get one. My rolls are out for delivery today.

Raw privy singles are now trading for $130-$150 on eBay as increased supply puts downward pressure on prices. That’s down from $250 a week ago. It’ll be interesting to see where they settle, and what happens once (non-presale) slabbed coins start hitting the market.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.

I hate to be the one to break it to people, but the times on those boxes mean as much as First Strike does on a TPG slab. All it designates is the date and time the roll or bag was sealed in the box. NOT when the coins were rolled or bagged.
Everyone is grasping at straws, looking for something that just isn't there. The only distinction MIGHT be, if there is a large gap in dates, and if that gap signifies a break between when the initial tranche was packaged and when the back ordered tranche was. And even then, if, and only if, privies were included in the earlier tranche and not the later one.
Other than this, dates and times mean absolutely nothing. As evidenced by wide variations in hit rates from one box to another, with no pattern of dates and times with respect to rich packages or barren ones.

The only reason the time stamp would matter would be if it had any relationship to privy distribution. You didn't just say "cool, 5 minutes." You said "Hmmm... my roll is within 5m of your box. Should I open?"

That's a P-66+ IMO, they are so generous with these moderns, I've looked at a lot of them.
PCGS has only given out 15, 67s and zero 68s, to date anyways...

I think your comments are obvious... given that people have reported dates and times from the boxes and the results. Had it not been from these reports, we would not know this information to be completely true. I appreciate the reports and the date/times. Because of this, we know that not all July dated boxes contain a privy, we know that many early August boxes don't contain a privy. We also know that some boxes in this date range contain multiple privies. We know more because we are sharing information. Soon enough, we will have members reporting on boxes with dates of late August and early September. We will then learn more information about the consistent distribution of privies over time. Information that would not be readily available if we were not sharing. It gives us something to do and talk about while waiting in anticipation for our rolls and bags to arrive. The reports of those being skunked, especially those with early dates, is also a sobering reminder that nothing is a given here. We know from this shared information that a box containing several privies and a box containing zero privies can both have virtually the same time stamp. So I am not exactly sure why you are against sharing this information or why you have negative views of people being hopeful and speculating based on this information. It's just information, do with it as you please, or ignore it altogether. No need to harp on someone getting excited about potential.

Went through my bag and roll. Total: 2 privies, not very good results for 125 coins.
0 in the roll marked 8-14 12:46:28
2 in the bag marked 8-4 10:32:51
Went through 100 coins before finding any. Glad to have two, but probably could have bought them for less than what I paid in the aftermarket for the bag and roll. Had fun, though!
