Are you aware of anyone, either here...or Reddit, or some other coin type forum where someone is compiling and publishing this data. Would def. be interesting data for some to go over...assuming it's somewhat accurate.

I'm not yet aware of anyone compiling the information. I know it was asked last week from some who were opening bags and rolls, so I figured I would throw my info into the mix. I think the real question for those on back order is if they'll even have a shot at one.

I guess if no one here has already started one, I can try and go back and see if I can capture data on the posted pics w/time stamps on the boxes and see if I can start some data on reported Privy's.

As you mentioned, the backorder data will be key; especially to those who don't get their packages till later, and maybe decide to return them without opening them...

I am curious if everyone who is saying they received their coins already used an expedited/more expensive shipping delivery choice.

Mine are still on backorder and processing, and I just use the standard shipping process

My preliminary research indicated that the Mint frontloaded the Privies early on and spread them out sparingly later on...at lease till mid August.

A lot of variables there such as order number, (purported to be 1st in 1st out,) then credit card issues happening on the Mint's end, and last in line shipping. Anticipating a hot flippable, overnight shipping may be in order. I ordered this issue overnight with signature required. It worked out well this time as all of mine have been sold and shipped. Not always the case though.

The spacing of the title doesn't help it to be clear. Although it is nice to be able to see the privy coin and keep the roll intact, I wouldn't want an end of roll coin myself, too often damaged. It is or best offer, I would doubt it goes for anywhere near the $999 price.

Well, yeah. We all saw that real time via the ATS countdown. That was never in question. Also doesn't answer the question regarding privy distribution in back ordered product.

You are reading that incorrectly, and what it says is not inaccurate. The "4" goes with the "July," and it IS showing a privy on the end. So it is indeed a Mint sealed roll with a July 4 privy guaranteed.

Yeah. They only did this one other time. And that time, they made the distribution across a population smaller than the advertised maximum, without disclosing that until after the fact.

This time, they packaged a population smaller than the maximum for initial sale. If you don't see a similarity, I can't help you with that.

Same motive as last time. Not random happenstance, but, rather, disproportionate advantage to Big Boys. Last time, ABPP got privy distribution, and percentage allocations, based on a mintage the Mint did not make and was never going to make.

No reason privies could not have been distributed this time based on whatever fraction of the total was packaged for initial release. Also no reason they could not have mixed all coins before packaging.

You are taking something on faith based on fairness to the little guy they rarely exhibit. Good luck with that. I sincerely hope you end up being right.

You already have evidence from 2 years ago. Privies, and medals, were distributed to ABPP in numbers far in excess of published ABPP allocations, because they based the distribution on 75K when they only made 50K.

Deny it all you want, but that won't make it any less true. If the back orders this time don't have privies, or only have them in tiny disproportionate numbers, you'll have your second example. Stay tuned. Only a few more weeks before all is revealed.

No, the sun won't burn out tomorrow. But it's a real possibility that a disproportionate share of the privies, or maybe even all of them, have already been packaged before any back orders are.

In fact, based on past practice, and on the fact that ABPP were included in the first batch, it would be surprising if this is not the case. Better than 50-50. Not 1 in 5,000.

One and seven? I would be plenty happy with that - if I ever get my bags to check 😆

My late order (waiting room cluster) of rolls shipped. Bags still on backorder. Hoping for just one privy.
