With the ANA World's Fair of Money in full swing, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who attended the PCGS Cocktail Event, where we revealed the winners of the 2026 Set Registry Awards. The full list of winners will be published shortly.
I was delighted to greet nearly everyone at the door and enjoyed several engaging conversations following the event. More importantly, the entire PCGS team was inspired by the room's energy and passion for collecting - a passion we know extends far beyond those in attendance or those who took home an award this year.

Charles, my sincere thanks go out to the entire PCGS team for the setting up the Registry Awards Ceremony. Being able to attend was a highlight of my collecting career. I look forward to the rollout of the various changes announced by Stephanie and yourself last week. With luck I will see you again at future events.

As you would see if you review my account, due to a number of issues with customer services (completely ignoring me and not managing enquiries or questions professionally), I am no longer a paid member (since Jan 2026) and no longer submit coins for grading with PCGS. I was clear in December 2025 that I was disappointed with the poor service and that if things would improve, then I would consider coming back. However, things appear to be as bad as ever…
Regardless, I maintain seven No.1 sets and would like an update re when those awards may be confirmed. It will be my last year checking in because things have not got any better despite you coming here and claiming they have.
I have not decided which company to move to, or whether to just sell and move completely away from graded coins, and my choices are anyway limited because my coins are all UK minted (half sovereigns and quarter sovereigns).
Can you update, please? When will the awards be announced and do you have any plans to return the service to the previously excellent, consistent and reliable standards that we have sadly not seen for years?

All my concerns have been carefully confirmed in writing on numerous occasions without any substantive response from anyone at PCGS.
Your company took a decision to ignore me and I cancelled my membership. I am no longer a paid member and you would not be able to convince me to return without assurances on set registry standards and customer support service standards - which from what I see online are even worse than ever.
Sorry to be direct, Charles but I get the impression you think things have improved. I am not sure on what basis you have landed on that view.
