I noticed yesterday the 420,002 max mintage bumped to 480,000

I am still subscribed to ten , but I am more certain than not I'll cut them to one or two sets. If not go full pause mode.

I would count on them going right up to the max mintage on this. May sell out, may not. Watching those subs come back daily for around a week now. Still no release date.

    Oy. I bought 99 more (149 total).

I may need therapy. But they were flying yesterday at $157 (about $13 net for single sales - $18 for multiples).

Ever entice any of your students to join the coin collecting ranks? Sell them a unc set?

Good Lord, I hope I'm in no way responsible for this! I hope you found out on your own, and I didn't draw your attention to it.

I saw these go "live" - beyond 7am as well.
I have to keep telling myself I dont collect Unc sets, nor cents. And its $124.50 ... I've given the US Mint plenty of my $$$$ this year (1 or 2 more to go).
Like the 2019 W cents I got, I'd probably send the 2026 P,D cents in for grading, not sure its worth it.
I still have the S cent from the silver proof set (but I dont crack those open).

Sticking to my guns ... so far.

ok. Bought another 26 to get to an even 200. I'm walking away from the computer...

I wish you the best in getting them into new hands. I honestly thought this one was done after the last large dump a few weeks ago. Have no idea how so many were returned

How does anyone know that sets are being returned?
Maybe the mint is making more of them and not updating the mintage totals.
All they would have to do is change the 480,000 to a 580,000 and update the sales record

They made 300k. Thats the stated product limit. ATS is zero again btw.

Yes, you are correct. 300k is the number
This thread got mixed with mint sets and proof sets

Just opened the set I recently ordered and wow the ones from Denver are /far/ superior to the Philly ones - Denver versions are almost PL and the Philly versions look flatter and duller - not used to seeing that

It seems the cents sold individually and the remainder of the sets sold separately are netting more than the sealed sets or am I missing something?

That's about right, but it's very hard to sell certain of the coins. You can't simply add up all the coins and call that the set value. You will sell out of the cents quickly at around $150. But you'll be doing the nickels for 5 years. Lol. I did it with the 2017 EU sets and it literally took 2 years to sell all the nickels.

But that's Plan B if the set price drops with Plan C being to submit for grading.

A things currently stand, I'd rather stk the full sets for $160ish.

It appears the remainder of the sets less the cents in OGP are selling pretty regularly for $40+.

Probably. But, again, it's a volume issue. You will not sell as many centless sets as you will cents.

Depends on the asking price, no? In the $40's you will sell them all. $60 and & $70's not so much.

I have to say that the Unc sets had some really nice coins this year. That and I'm getting pretty good at grading these things. Just got my grading results. I smashed it! Out of 27 coins, only one coins came back less than 67. Super thrilled to get the MS69 Cent! 3 69's total. Lots of 68s. Phenomenal.

Still, I think it's remarkable that 27 coins get graded and not a single one gets a +.

That's amazing! Congrats. You must have got some killer fresh sets. Here, not so much. I sent my finest to CAC and got these results yesterday. I know they are tougher, imho, but I expected higher grades! I did get the only MS68 Lincoln they graded this year so I guess I can not complain!

Not bad. I don't know, I think it remains to be seen if I got unusually nice sets or if that will be the norm. I think over the next few days we'll be seeing the results of all of the non-bulk submitters start to show up in the pop reports. My experience lately is that PCGS is grading similarly to CAC now.

The plan was to submit for my collection but I only need one of each. I might have to sell off the 69's to generate funds for other coins though as I'm not that high falultin'.
