I didn't buy anything, but I liked this 1795 Flowing Hair dollar in AU-50+ Ex Norweb. Fetched a strong price, same as the NGC MS-61 in the following lot. 1794 dollars were strong too.

I was going after the Humbert slug with gold CAC but fell a few increments short. I was not particularly surprised though and thought there was a less than 10% chance I was going to win at my max.

The 1846-o is sweet, has everything going for it.
I stupidly bid $3000 for the Mack Chase 1934-D PCGS/CAC MS-66 walker in the OGH holder thinking I was putting in a low starter bid on the MS-67 one. I was prepared to live with my mistake when I already have an MS-66 one in a PCGS/CAC rattler holder purchased a long time ago.
I was shocked when i was outbid with a $3200 bid late tonight. I was happy too. This is a HUGE amount over every pricing guide.
All these bids do NOT include the 22% buyer fee.
I do not think the winning bidder will get crushed with his purchase. Nice coin.

I do not recall ever seeing a coin graded AU 50+. Ive seen AU 58+, but nothing lower

I was willing to pay 58 CAC guide, but that still wasn't close. The 58 CAC that sold went for 61-62 CAC money. The guides need to be updated....

I was interested in the 1801 dollar in 58 CAC. Was thinking in the 30k plus range. Went for 40k of course.

XF-45 is the lowest grade that can plus. I'm sure most of the lower grades achieve plus grades by reconsideration, but I could be wrong.
