Okay, next question, if the privy mark are indeed only in these bags and rolls, does that include the backorder rolls?

How do I know if my bags went on backorder, I saw that when checking out, but from the invoice and confirmation email it appear they are in stock when I bought mine.

I'm feeling like they would be in a hurry to get the 250,000 off their hands and get them out in the initial shipments, BUT, this is the US Mint, so anything could happen.

But, since you bring it up, 4x face is a 30 cent premium per coin while the roll premium on the dollar coins is more than $1 per coin. So...idk

That was a complete mess. I was stuck in waiting rooms since I started looking 2 hours before release. 30 minutes before release and 20 minute wait times. 15 minutes before release and put in the other room telling me when the release is. Finally at release time, put in new waiting room with an over 1 hour counter. About 30 minutes after release I was finally able to place my order.

With that much site traffic, I was surprised there was any quantity left to add to bag.

The ATS on those bags dances all around, It's been 6100, then down to 5295 and up again. Now its down to 4200, but when I refreshed, it went right back to 5180

This may be obvious but lets assume that there are 3 privies per bag. We all do not care for the 97 others so deposit at bank / use for FV = 154-97 = 57 for 3 = around $18 for a 250k mintage sitting president issue. I think thats more than fair and a great value! With potential for appreciation

If the distribution of the privies is properly spread out then a privy or two would pay for the entire order, based on current ebay prices. Of course, the prices will trend lower over time, either gradually or precipitously.

This was my thinking as well. I ended up buying the rolls too which cost more per coin but wanted to increase the chances of getting some privy coins. I’ll keep the privy coins and deposit the rest probably. I sure hope the description was accurate and the privy coins are only in these offerings.

Yes, but based on recent history of the Mint's privy distribution, some people will get fifty privies in a bag, and many more others will get zero.

I finally got in 5min ago and was able to get the rolls. two sets of them. 12:23pm central time. Couldn’t believe it. Tried the bags first but it kept going to pay now but the bag was empty. Happy to have gotten the rolls as I forgot this was happening today.

I should go back and find the discovery announcement again. It's just odd because if they were all in bags and rolls and the ABPP bought bags and rolls, why don't all the ABPP dealers have Advanced Release privies for sale?
